In my blog, we talk about how to live a life strengthened with God's power and ability in your every day life.
How? Through relationship with God the Father, the Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit; by applying the wisdom He provides in Scripture to every area of life.
“So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31, NLT)
Dear Friend,
Did you know you can invite God into your food and nutrition choices?
For a long time, I felt defeated, condemned, and ashamed about my eating habits. I didn’t feel good physically, and I was constantly distracted by my health and emotions, which led to even more instability in my life.
But God set me free—from poor choices and emotional turmoil.
Why?
Because He cares about every area of our lives—including our nutrition and food habits.
The same Spirit of God who raised Jesus from the dead and set you free from sin is the same Spirit who can bring freedom to your body, your mind, and your daily lifestyle. All we have to do is invite Him in—even into our emotions and eating habits.
Here’s the best part:
When we mess up, there’s no condemnation (Romans 8:1). When we know who we are in Christ, we can cast our cares on Him, and ask for wisdom and strength in every choice.
God’s love isn’t about making perfect decisions—it’s about knowing our identity in Him. You are already victorious in Christ. There is no bondage, shame, or guilt in your food choices when you’re walking with Him.
And did you know?
Studies show that processed foods and excess sugar can lead to depression, anxiety, mood swings, and health problems. What we eat impacts our physical bodies, minds, and emotions. So what we put in matters.
Here are a few practical nutrition tips you can start applying today:
Eat more whole foods, fewer processed ones
Check ingredient labels (the fewer ingredients the better!)
Eat both raw and cooked vegetables (raw veggies make great snacks!)
Include healthy fats like coconut oil, avocados, and extra virgin olive oil
Stay hydrated—start your morning with a big glass of water
Eat plenty of fiber
Try stopping meals a few hours before bed
Consider intermittent fasting (it works well for many!)
